Marchald Filters  has designed and produced since 1974 Italian made high quality air-filters for motorcycles. Thanks to this long experience our technical department has created a new and unique air-filter for motocross and enduro use. This product has been designed modifying the weaker features of cheaper and traditional air filters increasing air flow, filtration capacity, dirt collapse time and assembly friendliness.

Besides usual filters features, in Marchald Filters we find:

- Superficial grooving

The layer exposed to dust has a superficial grooving that increases the deposit surface and therefore the air transit when the filter is under particular stress. Thanks to this the filter needs to be cleaned less often.

-Contact seal

The contact seal is made with a particular profile that, thanks to a security step, allows the assembly of the filter cage without errors assuring maximum seal.

-Special sponge

The filtration material is of maximum quality standards. The high quality of this material allows its immersion in petrol and in other chemical agents without changing its mechanical characteristics and increasing life and compactness of the filter itself. The sponge is made of a double prefilter-filter layer.

-Sponge soldering

Sponge soldering is carried out through a unique process. The majority of cheap air filters are “flame” soldered through the hot fusion of the two sponge layers, which is a quick method that can obstruct the cells and reduce the air flow. Instead Marchald filters filter sponges are soldered in a way that leaves the air flow completely free.

-Air filter assembly

Unlike the usual three horizontal pieces, our air-filters are vertically assembled in two-pieces: body filter and seal. The vertical gluing lines make the filter more resistant to collapse and to closure in case of  dust excess. We also use less glue.

-Special oil  

Marchald Filters oil is incredibly fluid during application and extremely viscous when applied on the filter. This guarantees firmness to the applied oil that eliminates the problem of accumulation in the lower part of the filter and in the filter box.
